Kewaskum Statesman Historical Newspapers

We are pleased to offer digital copies of the Kewaskum Statesman newspapers in a word-searchable PDF format. Newspaper editions missing from the archived collection are marked "Missing."

Conducting Searches

  1. Select the newspaper year(s) from the left sidebar menu. Most are arranged by decade.
  2. A new page will open with your selected years. Under each heading is a vertical listing of each edition for each specified year.
  3. Click on an edition. It will open as a PDF in a separate browser window. Most file sizes will be large.
  4. Use the Find function (Ctrl + F/Cmd + F) and enter your search terms or use the search bar. Found text will be highlighted.
  5. Tip: Some characters/words may not be recognized correctly due to age and condition of the newspapers. For better success, try limiting your search to single words instead of full text search.
